Muzette Morgan -VOCALIST

Muzette Morgan and Muze Productions are dedicated to producing quality music with a
message of love and hope for the whole world to hear.  The goal of Mu
ze Productions is to tell
the truth about life through music.  Muzette Morgan sings all genres of music to all people that
will listen. Music is a universal language.

Muzette Morgan began Muse Productions in the 1980's
, later changed to Muze Productions.
"The Santa Claus Man", a musical, was written and produced by Muzette Morgan at venues
all across Chicago. Ms. Morgan has been producing plays and shows at several Chicago
locations including the Harold Washington Library, and The Petrillo Band Shell.

Mu
ze Productions recognizes talent of all ages. Michael Grand has been instrumental in adding
his voice of an angel to
songs, and developing excellent arrangements.  Ineja Blue is an excellent
songwriter and music critic.  She was co-writer for several songs in "The Santa Claus Man".
Fernando Jones was steadfast in making sure I had everything I needed including playing guitar
and sound advice about the industry.  Surely he is one of the best blues guitarists in the
Chicago land area.

Mu
ze Productions had the help of a few really wonderful people that are no longer with us.
My Aunt Ruth played piano in a way that would make your soul dance and sing.  When she
played, you could not sit down.  She played for the stars that came every year to perform in
Chicago.  She was my mentor and friend. My dad wrote many songs.  Our house was always
full of music.  He wrote some great ones, and he was the first person to encourage me to write.
I was 13 years old when I wrote my first song. I sang it to him and,  Dad took the song and
copyrighted it.  Not only was Sam Hill the leader of the trio at the pump room, he was also
my friend.  Sam helped and supported me in every aspect of my music
;  writing, singing,
everything. Sam was also the choir director and organist of  St. Pauls Church were I have been
singing since 1983.  Alpheus Fields worked tirelessly on "The Santa Claus Man" and nothing
was too difficult,  nothing too tiring because perfection was his goal. We had to get it right.
That is what everyone of these musicians believed in. If it's worth performing, it's worth
performing right.

Brendan Henry was always there when I needed him, and demands the same sense of
perfection in music.  Or should I say the same amount of love, because it's the love  a person
has of music that makes one want the music to be at least as close as we can get it to it's
beauty in heaven.  That, in my mind, is effortless there, but tedious here. However, well worth
the work.  I take my hat off to all the muses. All the people that have helped me.  All that have
come and gone, all that are here, and all that are coming.  Remember, if it's worth performing,
it's worth performing right.
